Vehicle Integration Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time
CTC: ₹8 to ₹12 LPA
				Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall electric vehicle integration and mechanical design of vehicle parts and assemblies.
 - Lead the Vehicle Integration team for commercial vehicle development.
 - Explore, evaluate, and procure materials, subsystems, and services from vendors as per project requirements.
 - Evaluate concepts considering vehicle targets such as weight, cost, attributes, and platform modularity.
 - Design vehicle architecture considering market needs, engineering limitations, and modularity.
 - Collect engineering/design inputs and prepare the overall plan for technology/concept projects.
 - Achieve modularity and standardization while addressing diverse
requirements. - Conduct benchmarking, target setting, and DVP conclusion.
 - Ensure quality standards: DMU, DFA, DFS, and DFM.
 - Create engineering drawings, documentation, and BOM for release and control.
 - Be aware of current and upcoming homologation requirements.
 - Enable compliance by collecting and sorting data from the homologation group and distributing it to relevant teams.
 - Report reviews and progress to management.
 - Estimate budgets and coordinate for concept demonstration and performance evaluation.
 - Support vendor assessment and onboarding.
 
Qualifications:
- B.Tech / M.Tech or equivalent, with specialization in Mechanical Engineering or Machine Design.
 - 8–12 years of relevant experience in CAD and vehicle integration domains.
 - Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.
 - Familiarity with Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies.
 - Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
 - Proven ability to develop and implement new technologies or processes.
 
Requirements:
- Innovative mindset for new concepts and effective vehicle integration.
 - Experience with DMU (Digital Mock-Up), 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting (vehicle layouts).
 - Hands-on experience with CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE PLM.
 - Strong problem-solving techniques.
 - Knowledge of frame design and other mechanical aggregates of electric trucks and buses.
 - Understanding of manufacturing processes and plant assembly layouts.
 - Exposure to homologation requirements for commercial vehicles, CAE, testing, and validation.
 - Experience coordinating across product development teams including all aggregates and attributes.
 - Familiarity with complexity/modularity management and manufacturing methods.
 - Knowledge of MPDS, APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, and QC tools.
 - Passionate, flexible, and agile in R&D operations.
